Son of Stanley and Margaret A. Dallas, of Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire,
Died on the 14th September 1945. Aged 28.
Buried at Fraserburgh, Kirkton Cemetery.
1184 Extn. Class 5. Grave 1729.
Lance Sergeant J. Connor, Corporal W. King and Sapper J. Dallas also died at this incident. It is possible that the elements in the rocks affected the mine detectors making them unreliable.
