Buried at Enfidaville War Cemetery, Tunisia.

Bertram Freer lived with his widowed mother in Harrogate, N.Yorks in 1939 & 1940, and is commemorated on the town war memorial. He enlisted on 23.10.1940. He married Nora Fitt in Hendon in 1942. On 9.7.1943 he died of dysentery – his unit was in a concentration area at Sousse at the time. Her is not mentioned in the War Diary [WO 169/10895].
